0 Anyone get sand in their motors before? I've done it twice now.
Is there a way to take a motor apart and service it or is it just easier to keep buying new ones.

1 You just need to remove c clip from bottom of shaft then you can seperate magnet end from wire end.
One some motors you can take the bell off the motor usually a allen key collar. I just wash them out with water blow them out one drop of break free oil on each bearing reassemble.
Then dry them with hair dryer or under the sun.

23 Unless they're cobras......the tape may pull the magnets themselves out.......cobras seems to have a problem holding onto their magnates.......
