RX/VTX Antenna Mount
#1
Sometimes you struggle to find that perfect spot for your RX antenna, and sometimes even your VTX antenna.

I stumbled across these a while back and have been using them on pretty much every build.

Little G10 mount to help you position your fpv antenna where you need.
Screw them to an m3 hole on the edge of your fame and this gives you a secure spot to mount the RX antenna or VTX pigtail.

I mount mine on the 2 rear stand off top plate screws and then use a cable tie looped through the larger hole and heatshrink the antenna to the cable tie.

I have only seen them at Buzzhobbies, http://buzzhobbies.com.au/index.php?rout...uct_id=223

At 78 cents US a piece it is nothing.

If you have access to a 3D printer, you could quickly print out a dozen or so...

Not exactly the same, but it should work (2mm thick, btw).  Just uploaded it to thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1643292

(Let me know if it needs to be modified - it be easy.)

Appreciate it scotty, but I don't have access to one...been thinking about it, but as of yet I can't really justify it to the war department Confused (I shouldn't say that, my wife is absolutely great.......but she does have her limits : ))  Anyway, by the time I need it, they may have restocked. Well, print "one" first and check the dimensions.  Let me know if holes too big, too small, correct distance apart, etc.  I don't have one to measure, but it's painless for me to modify the model.

No problem, I will get the calipers out and measure the original I have, and let you know.

Don't mind my quick and dirty scratches on your nice diagram.

Thanks! I thought my antenna hole was a bit big.  Model adjusted - added V2 file at thingiverse link above.  (Everything else was very very close.)

Here's the revised snapshot:

V3 and V3thin (1.6mm) added.  I suspect these will be too fragile, unless maybe printed in ABS or Nylon.  (Couldn't leave well-enough alone... Big Grin )

(What the heck! V2thin too....I'll stop now....)
