That is really, really interesting.

No battery to save weight, will take an SD, relatively cheap, and saves gyro data? It's like someone's actually listening to what micro-quad people want!

That fish-eye does look very aggressive, though. I'd be curious to see how it looks chopped down to 4:3 and then dynamically stretched back out. You'd lose the FoV, but if the extra pixels look like that I'm not sure they're worth it.

The ground is for dead people.

I would still wait for some reviews on the image quality. I am not expecting Gopro colours but hopefully the image doesn’t have weird artifacts.

This looks pretty good I agree on the fish eye effect being a little off putting but to me its almost worth $50 just to have the audio I have one video in all my years of flyin with audio on it and that was with the air unit when it actually decided to record to the SD card that day lil

If you look at Lees video where he is showing the gyroflow stabilized video vs no stabilized there is a massive reduction in fish eye. To me this is a winner. 50$ and I could put it on my babytooth or even a whoop!

As if the RunCam Thumb wasn't light enough at 9.8g, Albert Kim takes it to another level by more than halving that weight with a naked version Big Grin

For the price and weight, I can't help getting one to try but it's on backorder from Runcam store.
