0 Is it Infrared sensitive? I mean, you got the lens that block the IR or the ones that let it through? I suppose that if u have one that blocks it might be better for daytime (less information for the sensor). Or a polarized lens too... I use a polarized lens on my gopro and it rocks!
I don't know if it'll help for a runcam though

0 I usually just change the brightness and contrast on my goggle (Dom V3's) and leave the default setting on my Owl Plus, have you tried that?

0 i went and bought a run cam owl plus..thinkin it would be a "better" camera...i know this camera is prolly better then what im am about to explain...but this thing sucks A$$...i flew in over cast, wasnt full light but it was a good day..this thing was blacking out, blury vision, NO detail, i flew for 30 sec. and had to land, because i couldnt see shit..i need help..i did not touch any settings, i do not know the first thing to camera adjustment, the cheap eachine cameras never needed anything out of the box..
i know there is no perfect setting for day and night..but im not to worried about night..lets just work on day time settings..any help would be great? thank you.

30 Hm tbh i only increased brightness in my goggles and it was ok... However on the first few flights on that quad i had heavier props on and it looked like the camera went a lot darker when voltage was dropping.
If i were to adjust cam settings i'd probably lower contrast first and increase overall brightness a bit. But i never even checked what options it offers.

0 13-Apr-2017, 08:13 PM (This post was last modified: 13-Apr-2017, 08:17 PM by nitro20%.) i am so sorry to bomb as i respect all who are trying to make this camera into a DAY use cam...as respectfully as i can say, DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA if you mostly fly day...i have cameras that cost 15$ that work right out of the box with deep color, although there is some direct sun light things like "black hole sun"... at least i can still see around it..and its ONLY direct sun light...but? you look at the sun with your own eyes...OUCH,,,right...well how do you think a camera feels..there will never be a "perfect camera", but this runcam owl plus IS definitely not a day use cam. just my opinion so people wont have to spend weeks or months trying to adjust and inter web searching the perfect setting, just to obtain what their OLD camera did, because Runcam was 50$ and it said DAY and NIGHT use..sorry to bomb, run cam owl IS a good camera..for night!
do you want to fly or spend months with endless settings and never knowing if thats it?? that is the real question, and for 50$ i dont want to have to mess with anything out of the box..should JUST WORK...like we are DOING, trying to FIND the best setting for this over priced camera....my opinion dont mean crap though..but my collection of about 30+ different fpv cameras definitely tells a different story...LMFAO..because i was fooled into buying one too...but ill use it at night,,some day, maybe.
