Eagle has a newer version! The Eagle 2.

Here are the summary of improvements:

• Lower latency (33ms), it’s now similar to the CCD cameras such as Arrow and Swift 
  
• Price has gone down to the $40-$50 range
  
• Single PCB rather than double for better durability
  
• Using a 2-wire OSD controller like other FPV cameras, rather than the previous 6-wire one

Looks great man. Awesome flying too!

Nice, maybe this is what I should put on the July build... hmmmmm... My previous concerns about the eagle seem resolved.

It ships from overseas @ 2-3 weeks after Friday...

So much frowny-face... I had pretty much decided this was the camera but I thought I was going to be able to order domestically around the beginning of the month...



now I have a decision to make... 

Also, it's not any cheaper than the eagle 1. In fact they're identically priced at the moment. 44.95

it's cheaper but runcam has recently dropped the price of the first version probably to clear stock...

now that you mention it, the original was like 50 bucks before... but even still it wasn't much more than this one when I was buying before.

I am just going to go with the swift2 on the next build and reconsider this one for the build after that (which I may or may not do any time soon... a 3rd build may have to wait until there is something special and cutting edge that comes out next for me.
