I got finally got some time to make a sort of build log on how i build my first quadcopter.
I have used a rotorbit frame, i like the idea to reuse some parts so you can make hexacopter or even a octacopter with the same parts.
My setup:
Motors: Multistar Elite 2312 980KV Motor Set
ESC: (old) Turnigy Multistar 30A Slim V2 ESC With BLHeli OPTO 2-6S
FC: RMRC Dodo
RX: FrSky X4R-SB
TX: Taranis X9D
Lipo: Turnigy 5000mAh 3S 25C
Bluetooth module: Multiwii MWC FC Bluetooth Module
Voltage sensor: FrSky FLVSS LiPo Voltage Sensor
Props: Multistar Propeller with DJI Fitting 10x4.5 Black

I had bought the wrong props, i don't know why, but my colleague was so nice to mill the props, he even mill the props a little bit smaller then the actual motor shaft diameter, so you have use rubber cloves to hold the motor still and turn the props on the motor, the advantage of this is that i even can fly without the prop nut, i lose one time a nut but i was still able to fly for an hour.
I also have drilled the holes for the landing legs not with the carbon square full inserted in the mount, so with a hard landing the ty-raps breaks and the carbon square can move a little further to absorb the hard landing and that is working great!
I still have to PID tune this machine to make it great, but that is still something i am searching for to do it right.
If the quad is in the air it's very quite so that's also nice.
Flight time with the lipo is 25 minutes so thats very nice.
