ROTORACER Racebase FC [F3, OSD, BEC, Video Filter]
#61
Hi Marcin, now that BF 3.0.1 is out I have a couple questions:
Should we switch to official BF on the RaceBase or should we continue using the version from your link?
And if we now switch to the official release, is there some major difference or something we should be aware of before upgrading?

I recommended to switch to this version because there are some changes in filters and GUI. So the best if you have official release on board nad PC.
But sadly you will lost all configuration....

Thanks, it's no big deal to reconfigure the quad again.
I saw your commits with OSD code to 3.0.1, does it mean that all the options we had with the custom FW are now on official BF, including the ability to tune PIDs and rates from the OSD?

And btw, do you have ETA for the next board revision with UART3? I'll start building a new quad soon and would like to use RaceBase on it but I don't want to have another quad without telemetry.

The current value and mA in OSD need current sensor in your quad. So you need to have PDB with current sensol or something like that.

Manual is almost finished in my native language PL, and should be available next ween in EN.

Do you know what would be the recommended "gyro update frequency" and, "PID Loop frequency" for this board?

Thanks in advance!!

Hi,

Telemetry Port is missing on current version but, right now new release of the board is going to the shop and have Spectrum port with additional TX pin, so you can use it for telemetry.

Btw. Actually in all shops you have new version with extra pin on SPECTRUM port for telemetry, VTX etc.
