I was chatting to a guy at my local field and he showed me a vid where he flew 1-2km (maybe more) using a 5dBi antenna mod on his taranis with an X8R RX. I was wondering if the PCB antennas from the X8R might improve the range on other FrSky RX? How much has range got to do with specific RX components, and how much to do with antennas?

I would think it would work for all of them if the connectors are the correct size.  I learned that a lot of the RX antenna available have the larger version of the IPX.  I suppose we could just change them to whatever connector necessary.
