Repair Eachine EF-01 fpv aio camera
#1
Hi!

I'm new to the hobby. I'm learning about fpv and electronics just by practicing, breaking things and trying to repair them.

I had a crash and smashed the antenna of my EF-01. It broke right above the signal soldering point, and below the ground soldering point

I dont want to throw it away, and I think I have these options:

- Try to solder a new antenna, but soldering the ground to other ground point (dont know where and if it's possible)

- Split camera and vtx and reuse the camera with a new vtx, but in order to do that i need to identify the connectors in the camera. There are two groups of three pins, and i dont know which of them are the riight ones, and what is every individual pin for.

I hope you can help me. Thank you very much

My vtx did quit working after two flights. Camera is fine though. I figured out few pins that gave me possibility to use another vtx.

See picture. Red +5V, black gnd and yellow video out. Other pins are a mystery to me Smile

I hope this helps anyone thinking of repurposing the camera.

Ps. can you see why vtx propably quit? See solder bridge between two pins at chip near antenna? Working vtx didn't have that. My camera ran really hot when it arrived.
