Remote Charging
#1
Hey Guys,

What do you all use when you're charging on the field?  I do use my car battery.  Depending on the field I'm in, the car is not always easily accessible.  Is it worth using a portable power charger (the ones used for boosting cars).  Or do you guys just buy 15,000 mah lipos?

Most people that I've seen at events or on Youtube use huge lipos. I don't bother myself as I've normally broke mine before I use all of my batteries. Big Grin

This battery should be able to charge 9 x 1300mah batteries right? Seems like it's not really enough.

Nearly everywhere I fly I am able to take my 4WD, so I use my 4 port charger off my AUX vehicle battery to charge in the field, But It is not that often I need to charge in the field as I am a Lipo Hoarder and have 24 x 1300mAh 4S and numerous others for the 130-150 class, so generally I am set for a days flying without charging.

If I do not have access to my 4wd when out in the field I have a smallish battery porta pack I use to charge 1 lipo at a time.

Yeah, but your flying skills may be better than mine and only need 6 packs to equal my 24. Wink
