Presentation
The SPM4649T receiver is a little long awaited messiah in the world of FPV Racing for users of material from the Spektrum brand.
It is clear that a lot had to be frustrated, seeing the guys grow with the ugly FrSky but really more successful than Spektrum.
The announced radios tops, discharged batteries, ...
And it looks like this is it! The "Apple's model" has finally released an almost equivalent.
It took them a while to get something and try to keep some crazy flying in Spektrum before they escaping to competing brands.
The receiver has a price, I bought for my part, in a Belgian shop to 44.9 €.
Apparently, I really got lucky it is only available at 55 € elsewhere.

I took a basic and already functional machine for editing. If I was to meet a concern, I would find it easier to isolate the problem.
The test takes place in 2 phases, a sub Betaflight and the other under Raceflight.
My radio is a dx9 with the soft Airware 1.11
The receiver of the wiring diagram is simple:

The card used for the test is under Betaflight:
A monitoring for remote voltage, not very calibrated
We must connect the second output of SPM4649T your PDB
And the last thing available is a visual on the signal. Warning, warning weak signal is only available in version 1.11 on your Spektrum.
The card used for the test is under Raceflight:
The functions are identical to those you may have with Betaflight. voltage measurement and signal intensity.
Telemetry options include:
To attach more aesthetically the SPM4649T your Revolt, I invite you to follow this video (in English):
Conclusion
I find this expensive, even very expensive compared to the competing brand of gear. Moreover, to enjoy your flight telemetry card, it will go through the property solution Spektrum. Only cards Spektrum flights (or recently Revolt FC) accept and treat SRXL protocol is a bidirectional language on a PIN (TX).
This does not mean that our good old card theft would not stand. It just means that it is not developed by Spektrum. It suffices to walk on the forums to attend the many fairs grabs between developers and those Betaflight Spektrum. They cried foul and nonsense from Spektrum not to open the license of their protocol to be able to adapt to Betaflight.
Please keep your money in your pocket for now, and wait until both decided to develop something in the same direction for the benefit of the community.
Good flights!

- Diet
- Stopwatch
- Provided by external equipment such as a flight controller:
- Flight Log if you use more than one receiver
- Battery voltage

- Total consumption mA dc
- Temperature
- Any other information that the flight controller can make as GPS, etc.
