i liked to build something, grabed a beautyfull frame and old electronics from my bench.
the frame is a flightclub tokio, a 75g 4mm unibody base plate. from the aera when they provided livetime warranty, its a replacement; old but brand new :-)
it has a nice slippery coating on it and no edges at all, alot attantion to details.
quality didnt increase over that time, prices changed.
the total frameweight with a top is about 90g.
some of the very first 2207 motors, when 2205 was common. they are well made, heavy at about 37g. i dont know their name or brand and dont know the kv. someone inhere know them and can identify?
a liitlebit bended somewhere, some bad bearings... noisy noisy machines xD maybe too noisy xD we will see :-) replace some bearings might be an option.
an old aikon 30x30mm blhelis 30a 2-4s esc.
it was used in a racer in the past, one esc seemed to be died in the past. i used it with a single esc to complete it backthan.
i didnt mark the faulty esc, the plug wasnt on it, i didnt knew which esc it was.
soldered all motors to figure out the broken esc, it seems it repaired itself while waiting in a box xD allbthe motors spins well :-) desoldered the single esc. hopefully it will work :-)
the fc is an old hglrc f405 from a hglrc dino 40a stack 2-5s. that stack was connected by pins baad solution
that stack was soo small and did spin heavy engines. regardless the pins, compared to modern 20x20mm stacks; the dino stack was as lightweight as modern stacks, its abilities are still up to date - blheli 32 dshot1200 capable. 6s did come to our 20x20mm stacks.
the pin connector of the fc is desoldered and there are the motorsignal wires and power soldered.
should i choose an old bf version? 3.5 maybe?
im at 275 g actualy with a carbon topplate, there will come props 20g, a lipostrap 10g another 10 gram foe cam and vtx.
it will come very heavy for my taste over 300gr dry.
i will try it as los quad at first, hopefully the parts will still work and shine :-) later some adjustemends or replacements and finaly fpv gear :-)
while building i realised all the parts are from antother time. i build a lot, i dont have the time for build logs as i am building all the time xD
this time the old parts representing another aera, liked to share - hopefully you enjoy and bring some old stuff into a thread too
