I have been using the Tramp VTX, and I can't recommend it more. I think it's currently the best vtx you can buy for 3 reasons.
First of all, it has a "no glitch startup" feature. So when you plug in you don't zap your buddies. Tested a few times and it seems to work. This is pretty huge.
2nd and I'll admit I don't know what other vtxs do this but the Tramp regulates it's power output. Normally a vtxs power goes up or down depending on temperature. We found this out while tuning the vtxs on our Riot Pros. But the Tramp holds it's power regardless of temp.
3rd, you can now use smartaudio and some Lua script to set your VTX via your TX, like changing channels and power!
Also there's the whole wand which I have yet to purchase but makes changing power and channels a snap.
TBH most vtxs are very similar in performance. It's just little features here and there that sets them apart. For some it's OSD integration, for others it might be the use of a wand.
