So I went ahead and ordered the Realacc X210 pro build kit from Banggood to be my first quad build. The kit it self seemed like a pretty good deal and had some decent parts. Since the kit didn't come with any fpv gear I added a Runcam swift 2 and a eachine tx526.
Here are the parts laid out before the fun started happening
I had read from previous reviews people having issues with fit and finish as well as the quad being a bit fiddley to put together. The kit now comes with instructions for building the frame and all the tolerances were great, all the motor bolts fit perfect with out any need of filing.
PDB starting to get soldered up, man I seriously underestimated before the build how much work went into them. I elected to solder on a pig tail to the PDB instead of doing the xt60 direct to the board.
Flight controller soldered and connected ready to test. This is the first FC I had it plugged in and worked once, then on the second power up let go of its magic smoke.
Wasn't going to make the same mistake twice and made myself a smoke stopper.
Mostly put together, you will notice the receiver sort of hang out the back. I hadn't quite figured out where to put it yet. But everything was working so I was nice and happy.
The finished product. All configured in betaflight and ready for a proper maiden. Did a quite sort of hover around the living room to make sure all was running fine. I definitely picked a tight frame to do my first build on. As of right now the vtx is mounted to the top plate with the receive wedged between that and the FC, not sure if thats going to create any issues.
Let me know what you guys think and thanks for looking. This definitely enjoyed building it although I will say it was a bit nervewracking.
