I noticed that the winding resistance was missing from the motor specs, so I calculated with an approximation based on similar motors.

I'm sure that OP understands (he should do!) that if this is a final year engineering project, then specifications, facts and reliably obtained data is just as crucial to this project as it is any other. The lack of data provided does surprise me to be honest, as does the fact that my question "what did you use to bench test your motors?" still remains unanswered.

bench test was carried with a simple table with a hole in centre, from which rose a block of wood higher than the bench. motor was screwed to this block with props on it. under the block was kept a weight machine which showed the difference in weight. simple.the block was 1.5 kg in weight itself

Which way were the measurements taken? With the prop pushing air downwards, for a negative value or the prop pushing air upwards for a positive value?

Smile both the ways . they showed similar results..

So yes, it will fly fine!

Thanks for taking time...  Are you saying it will fly with my motors, each of which only produces 550g thrust or so??? or you just inserted a 1000kv motor in your something called eCalc.. also plz enlighten me what is this ecalc.. thanks

eCalc is here: https://www.ecalc.ch/xcoptercalc.php?ecalc&lang=en

What I did was take the specs that you posted and create a custom motor definition that matched your motor. Then I set up all the other parameters to match your configuration. That gave me this:

eCalc costs a nominal amount of money to get access to the full database of motors, propellers etc. It's normally fairly accurate, but you need to give it accurate and detailed information for the best result. It doesn't tend to give particularly good answers for mini quads, but their flight time is pretty limited anyway.

My next hurdle is to use an imu GY-80 rather than the mpu6050.. I dont have any knowledge how to incorporate its output into my quad for stabilization . Can anyone help me with the same. If anyone could provide with the complete arduino code as well, it will be appreciated.

Definitely well over my head. I fly betaflight FCs so I wouldn't even know where to begin.

I can't help you with custom Arduino flight code either.

My quad and hexacopters run Betaflight or Cleanflight (depending on their age) and I run my camera ship with a Pixhawk and ArduCopter (which isn't based on Arduino, despite the name).

Still Thanks a lot guys......

Also i wanted to know that one of my motors makes a rubbing type sound like if it touches something internally.. i have never dropped the motors and taken good care of them always.. ny ideas what might be causing the problem??
