Racerstar Racer33 - 32-bit ESC DShot1200
#1
Are you ready for BLHeli32? Here comes the 32-bit ESC from Racerstar! The Racer33.

Spec:

Continous current rating: 33A
Peak current: 36A (10S)
Lipo: 2-4S
Weight: 9.0g
Size: 27x15mm

However there is no mention of BLHeli on the product page, nor on the product label itself, so it's not clear at this stage what firmware it's going to use for sure. But my bet is on BLHeli32!

While Banggood would love to jump on that particular band waggon, this product is nothing to do with BLHeli_32.

If you look at the pictures, they don't even have a 32-bit Arm processor on the board!

What makes you think they don't?

Do these ESCs have an ARM CPU on board? :-)

Nope, these are just re-labelled VGood Firefly ESCs. They're months old and the VGood firmware was never quite stable. Seemed to work ok on some setups but had problems with a lot of the tougher to drive setups.

I guess I'd like to know the distinguishing visual characteristics of an ARM 32bit processor that lead you to believe or not believe that one is present on a board or not.  (ie, How do you tell by looking at either of those pictures? - Just curious...)  Thinking

The smaller chip is a Fortior FD series gate driver circuit. The larger chip is an STM32F0. Both are actually labelled.

My mistake. I wasn't aware that the F0 chips were available in that packaging style.

On my photo it's a STM32F051 + MP6530. My dev board at the moment.

There's none unless your can read the marking, that's the point.
