I recently got this tiny piece of kit from Gearbest and at first I thought it was nothing more then an amped up Hubsan but this tiny piece of kit really surprised me!!!
It comes preassembled, alongside a short manual and a few spare props.
It's BNF so you will need to find your flavour of remote control receiver to connect to it. It can even take SBUS receivers but I went with a R111X orange receiver that I had bound to an orange module I use in my taranis.
That's pretty much all you need to get it flying. It comes preloaded with cleanflight and the pids seem to work pretty well both in level mode and acro mode. Remember to add switches to change this by connecting it to cleanflight.
Also, the board is an F3!
Wonder if this can run at 4k pid loop ............
Weighting at a mere 40g, this is the size of a 4" prop but flies pretty close to a regular 250 sized quad.
Below, a full video review and a mini race in level mode in the middle of a wood course and even with with 250mm quads in acro!
Can the QX80 win?????? Check the video to find out!
