try both is the best way to figure out which fit with your hands...
good value used stuff is perfect for this.
in terms of goggles and transmitters its not possible to do the „right“ recommendation, alot is about personal feeling.

as voodoo wrote, the xlite is very handy. the jumpert16 is very small and the x9 light is on the small side. the qx7 is huge, the x9d isnt small aswell.
