Can the Flysky i6x control the E010 out of box?  I am about to order one to control my E010 until I can afford to pick up a pair of FPV goggles and a micro fpv like a QX90 unless there is a better micro to learn with that I should get.

No, it can't. You'll need the version with the beecore FC and flysky receiver: http://m.banggood.com/Eachine-E010S-65mm...19427.html
