looks interesting...although bit big and ugly...I think the Eyebox 7R may look nicer...and will deal with 720p and HDMI

That eyebox looks pretty, but that latency tho... What's the latency on other brands?
Size wise, its nice, my headplays are too large to pack anywhere.

Some of you eagle-eyed out there may have noticed the Fatshark Logo on the Headstrap, Hobbyking has confirmed this goggle has been designed as a partnership between the Quanum design team and Fatshark. Smile

Any word of price yet Oscar? I'm guessing around the £120 - £140 mark...

Looks a lot bigger than my Quanum v2's as well... maybe a bit too big, will see when they do an HK daily on them.

Specifications look great though!!

i wouldn't worry about it, unless you are going to get the HD FPV system at the same time as well which I don't see it's going to be cheap either Smile

Sure.... But... HDMI input.... Playing LiftOff or FPVFreerinder with the Quanum could be really great!

Pardon the ancient thread bump. I'm new to the hobby, and building a 250 mm ZMR clone. I've purchased these goggles, and would love a suggestion for a compatible vtx.

Wish list:
Selectable power, 25-600 (miliwatts?)
Support for the diversity capability that these goggles have
pit mode
race band

Is there a VTX that ticks all of these boxes?

Thanks!

Diversity is a receiver feature, has nothing to do with transmitter.
I think both Tramp and Unify Pro are the best ones out there in terms of features, but they are a bit expensive...
for a cheap one I recently bought this and quite like it.. however it doesn't have pit mode: http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-TX526-5_...ds=myorder

Artur only just posted a review of the Frsky VTX - vantac-vt241t too take a look: http://intofpv.com/t-vantac-vt241t-review

Thanks Oscar.  I finally figured that out today, after several hours of reading.  It seems a bit counter intuitive that it is only a receiver feature, but, so it is.  I think I'll wait for the Tramp to come back in stock and grab one of those.
