Quanum Elite QE58-2 5.8GHz 25-200mW VTX: Bench Review & RF Power Measurements
#1
Hi guys!

In this video we do a full bench review of the Quanum Elite QE58-2 5.8GHz 40CH video transmitter with selectable 25 or 200mW power. After the unboxing, we measure size, weight, working temperature and the true RF power (for the 25mW setting) for all bands and channels.

I have now also measured true RF power of the 200mW setting of the Quanum Elite QE58-2 5.8GHz 25-200mW VTX, which I reviewed on my channel recently. All results can be found on my website, linked below. http://rcfpvflight.com/articles/quanum-e...surements/

i have just obtained a new one still in box and one used, the cable with the new one fits both fine, but
the used one has no cable, please, please can you tell me where i can obtain a replacement cable for it please? if not can you please tell me what size plug / pins i need to purchase to make my own as my soldering is not quite up to such delicate situations. a prompt reply would be very much appreciated ! thank you.

The video has a picture of the manual sheet at 0:58 along with the pinout for the cable. i don't think you will find another cable. you will likely have to solder on to the pins at the back of the connector. So remember Video In on the VTX comes from Video out on the FC, not the Camera or you will not have any OSD elements. but the manual in the video is pretty straightforward. You could also pick up a JST plug that matched the size and pinout for the VTX (no idea how to find out which one it is, someone else might know) and then put 5 wires into it and voila you have a plug to use with it, but it's fiddly work.
