When i arm the quad and don't touch the throttle i get a single beep every second from the buzzer. as soon as i put on some throttle, the beeping stops until i put my throttle to zero again.

From what i've read in the documentation, that might be normal behaviour if i were keeping the sticks in disarm position, but i'm not doing anything, i just armed the quad.

I am using SPRacing F3 FC.

yes that's the ARM_beeper, which you can turn off i think: set beeper_off_flags = 32768

And in case it's a newer betaflight, it would probably be "beeper -armed".
