Quad Search and Rescue

so after getting one of my quads stuck about 40-45 feet in a tree. I figured ok, time to put my 650 in action. so I rigged up my retractable landing to drop a rope. the idea was to try to drop the rope on the branch and try to shake it out. but that didn't work

so what ended up happening is having to climb half way up, and having some buddies hand me a 16 foot pole so I can poke at it.

so after a day of it hanging in a tree, I managed to get it out without killing myself, and only a puffed out battery. [Image: 6JDUsWLl.jpg]
it's kind of dark, but if you look close you can see me still in tree.

Well...it was a good try anyway.  You should be getting pretty good at climbing those trees by now! Big Grin

Still think this should have been a step in your ZMR build thread haha. And I think you still have time to submit the crash video in the king kong props contest
The trees are all out to get me

You couldn't throw something over the branch? At my flying place we just tie a rock to a rope and throw it over the shake the tree like mad Big Grin
