Quad Parts?
#1
Which part in a racing quad makes the most difference in terms of speed, handling, punch outs, and overall FPV flying? I have some $, and I was wondering if getting new motors, escs, FCs, Camera, VTx, Frame, battery, radio, goggles, etc... would be the quintessential component if I could pick. Any feedback would be appreciated! Smile

Speed - motors

Punchouts - props

Handling - learning proper PID tuning (sorry, can't buy that one. It's priceless)

Overall FPV flying - practice, practice and more practice

I'd say essentially the perfect combination of motors and props. That is, if escs and batteries can handle the current.

My fav are high kV motors and 2-blade 5045 props. I'm not a racer though, it requires some work on throttle through turns. A 3-blade setup might provide more "grip".

Which motors are good? I heard that the RS2206 are good. What props to use also? I just use the 5x4.5x3 KINGKONG props and they work pretty well. Finally, would the PID tuning be like adjusting your rates or by like changing the P, I, and D terms in Betaflight? Thanks for your quick reply! Smile
