Your arming issue will have nothing to do with the barometer.

I have the same FC on my analogue 5" quad, but the version with the BMP280 barometer. If I can find some time at the weekend I will try and flash it with Betaflight 4.3 and see if I can get the motors to arm using both PWM and Oneshot125. I'm using BLHeli_32 ESCs on that quad so it's not the same ESC setup as yours but if I can do that it would at least prove if Betaflight 4.3 is working properly (or not) with PWM and Oneshot125 ESC protocols.

I flashed the standard 4.2.11, as well as a customized 4.2.10 from Mateksys (http://www.mateksys.com/Downloads/FW/bet...405STD.hex), and both worked as expected.

I haven't tried "Motor PWM speed separated from PID speed" yet, I might give it a try, although as you see above, I have now a working solution.

I understand the arming issue is not caused by the baro, I was just explaining why I at all decided to use a release candidate firmware, as opposed to the last official stable release.
About the test you wanted to carry out, I actually flashed my ESCs with BLHeli firmware, so our quads are quite similar now. Of course, my ESCs are Atmel based, I'm guessing yours are with the more powerful Silab MCU.

And of course, I can't thank you all enough for spending so much time with my problem, I truly appreciate it!

I might still try it on mine at the weekend anyway but from your findings I think Betaflight 4.3 probably isn't going to work on my FC either using the PWM or Oneshot125 protocols. I guess I'll find out.

You've listed your FC has having the BMP280 barometer but it has the DPS310 barometer. It's just a small detail and may not matter but it might be worth making a correction to that.

I would also make a point of stating that you've installed Betaflight 4.2.11 and that it's working fine under that version, so the devs know it is definitely a bug that got introduced into Betaflight 4.3.0.

Updated github issue, thanks for pointing my mistakes out.

Betaflight PR #11429 has been raised and approved which contains a fix for non-working DSHOT protocols in Betaflight 4.3. This should fix the issue with the PWM and Oneshot125 ESC protocols not working. I would expect the fix to be merged into the Betaflight 4.3 RC4 release when it gets published.
