Very nice build. Hope you don't break the antenna off the vtx... but then again on pod racers it's a bit protected by the arms that go much further than the cage itself, not like on my quads.

I like. Plans for an HD cam (or did i miss that in text)?

Thanks Smile
No plans for HD cam so far, will probably 3D print something to attach it on top

in the meantime I have to say you have "infected" me and I'm now building my 2nd Skitzo :
Kiwi F4
Aikon 4-1 30A ESCs (while the Kiwi PDB is geat, I'm not going to use it on this build)
Returner V4 2206 2300kv
XSR
Runcam Mini (upgrading lens to 2.5mm gopro style)
TBS Unify Pro Vtx
Triumph mini
Azure props

I think just going to call this one "colour madness"
this is how far I got, now just waiting for the Kiwi to arrive

Did the Runcam Mini give you more camera angle?  I have a regular runcam swift on and can't get enough angle for how I like it...  I think I am about 25 degrees.  I already ordered the mini in hopes....

I don't have an issue with standard Runcam Swift on my Skitzo 1 build. I'm running at 30deg, but there is enough clearance to go to 45deg and probably more. My Runcam Swift clears top of the stack fine and the only issue would be if I wanted to go far enough where the top of the cam (or the cam connector with wires) would hit middle of the stack (my FC) but by that time I would be way over 45 degrees. I suppose it all depends where your different stack levels are located, I have a nice gap just where the top edge of the camera is. They also make Runcam Swift with the connector at the bottom instead of the top, I used it on my other build where I couldn't get enough clesrance with the connector on the top.
Anyway, here is my Skitzo 1 with the regular Runcam swift :

In fact now that you mentioned it I'm more worried about Runcam Mini, because while this camera is overall smaller, it is actually deeper than regular Runcam (distance between center mounting screw to the rear side of the cam is longer than on regular cam).

I should finish the build tonight, will let you know.

That looks really cool, if I'd build such a nice looking quad I'd probably not fly it and just hang it somewhere so it doesn't get dirty Big Grin

And yeah, finished my build over the weekend, just updated the 1st post with more pics. Now I just have to wait for my HD3s to get back from the UK to do the maiden flight...  Doh

nice looking build, you must be so keen to go out and fly it, sorry to hear about the goggles.

I'm excited now since my Kiwi.F4 arrived today, hoping to finish it tonight.
I'm changing few components on my build :
- generic 25/200/600mW/pit mode/anti-burn protection/ 48Ch VTx with L band (not saying I'll use L band but I like the form factor of this VTx and features)
- Flysky mini Rx (decided to have this copter set up with my Turnigy Evolution Radio for light travel)
