Propeller Tip: Normal, Bullnose, Hybrid Bull Nose
#1
Found this image from our FB group, thought it could be an useful reference. Mini quad propellers shape, bullnose guide.

Bullnose is also known as Blunt nose, they give you more thrust but also draw a lot more current than normal props. Hybrid bull-nose is somewhere in between.

I find the HBN to work well. I think its not only the rounder tip but also the wider body. I get good thrust with these and I guess they are easier on the amps compared to bullnose. I even cut some kingkongs 6040 to 4040, sand the edges to make them HBN and use them on my 180 .Very good results ,I would say.

It would be good to see a video of all four tested under a controlled expirement.

Also, do you think you can install different props in the front and back of the quad for better performance??
