0 I've been contemplating reversing motor direction and haven't found much as far as benefits besides a cleaner camera. Has anybody tried this and or fly this way and noticed any benefits besides the flinging debris away from the camera? The theory behind less disturbed air for the rear motors seems sound, but heck there's a bunch of sound theories that are garbage for a lot of things.

44 Apart from keeping the lens clean (and USB port on fc filled with grass), you also get the benefit of your quad not hugging the branches that much, as it just throws them to the side. On the other hand, you need to remember to make some adjustments after flashing.
Switching the prop direction is just a matter of preference, nothing else.

2 I've done it on all 4 of my quads. The only benefit I've noticed from it is that it does seem slightly easier to get out of trees, but it's also a hassle when you set up a new quad. Spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why my last quad wouldn't fly, and it was because I hadn't set the yaw_motor_direction setting.
