Problems binding D4R-II RX to Taranis
#1
I'm having an issue with binding a brand new D4R-II receiver to my Taranis Plus.

After pressing and holding bind button on D4R-II before powering it all i got is solid red and green light, and Taranis keeps beeping but the receiver does not bind.

My previous D4Rs work flawlessly. Anyone has an idea what could be the issue? Appreciated!

Some trouble-shooting steps:

1. making sure you're providing 5V for the RX, it happened to me more than once, the voltage regulator went bad.
2. Did you set the RX type in the Taranis to D8? It won't bind to D16...
3. make sure the new D4R-II has the same firmware as the Taranis, e.g. EU firmware with EU, non EU with Non EU.

I think you could be onto something here. As I've previously said, it is a brand new receiver and it could be very likely that the Rx has a newer firmware than Taranis. Any hint's where i could check for an older D4R firmware? Thx

I think I've found it, I'll leave a link just in case someone is looking for the same thing, tho it's not about eu fw or not, just an older fw with 18ms Link
