Problem getting Wizard x220 started

When armed, the tone changed on the FPV suggesting its bound. I've looked through almost all tutorials online and nothing seems to make the motors move.

OK, so it sounds like your motors aren't working at all. The sounds you hear when you plug in could be coming form the beeper on the LED board on the back of the Wizard.

Before we investigate any further, lets try to determine if your ESCs / motors are communicating at all. When you plug a LiPo into the quad you should get 3 short startup tones in ascending order followed by a short gap then a longer low tone followed by a high tone, as per the diagram below. If you don't get all of these tones, do you get any of them? These tones all come from the motors, not the buzzer on the back of the Wizard, so if the sound is coming from that then those aren't the ones I'm talking about here.

Update : I've realised I had damaged FC as the soldering had come off. I guess that might explain why the motors weren't working?

Yes, that sounds like a probable explanation. Try fixing that and if you still continue to get issues, just come back here and we will try to help you out further Smile
