Problem Flysky
#1
Hallo

I am just in the processes of building my third miniquad all seems to be OK. Motors fine, FPV image fine, binding OK. I get telemetrics on my Flysky transmitter. but no movement of sticks in betalight.

My Receiver is connected in IBUS, in betalight I set it up at PPM. this seems to work with my other quad that has the same components, but this one is a fail. I am using a OMnibus F4 pro.

Hi Samuel, have you tried (in configuration tab of Betaflight, in the 'receiver' box) change to 'Serial Based Receiver (Speksat, SBUS SUMD)'

Also confirm that in the ports tab you have the 'serial RX' slider selected on the UART you are using with your RX, and confirmed that you have selected the correct UART.

iBUS is a digital RX protocol so I'm pretty sure the board will not recognize the signals if it is set up for PPM. I'm surprised you have it working on your other builds! Are you sure that you are actually using iBUS RX protocol with the FC configured for PPM on the others? Remember that the v1 of the FS-A8S RX reverts to PPM on power up, so you might NOT actually be using iBUS protocol after all..?

Hallo

Know it gets intresseting and more constistent, there are three ports on the receiver PPM, I-bus, S-bus.

My previous build working with and omnibus F4 (not Pro) was connected to PPM.

When it plug it in the ibus port and try to connect modifying in betaflight and selecting every UART port to set in RX nothing works no responce of the sticks in betaflight.

I noticed quite some youtube eposodes on the subject but can't find it out yet what i am doing wrong

Samuel

Hallo

The receiver I am using is a Flysky X6B, the flight controller a Omnibus F4 Pro V3 Betaflight.
