Well, I have a Phantom as well..LMAO, but I did read the manual and know how to do the DJI dance. Big Grin

It is true for most Phantom pilots, but there are few freestyle pilots like this too. I met one guy that was into this hobby for one month and he was strugling with his 250 racer. Turned out he had 1.0 rates, but he didn't want to lower them because "pro racers fly with 1.0 rates".

oh so true, I have seen that myself, and you know a lot of that can come from others who fly on high rates kind of belittle those who are on low rates.  It is a case of an over-inflated ego that suggests you are a lesser pilot because you fly on lower rates.

All of us are different in the way we fly, and there is no "one size" fits all. My quads feel great for me and fly like I want them to, but hand them to any other pilot and they may hate my setup.
