Hey Ya'll,

Here's a little practice session from today.  



Super fun.  I saw a post from rc groups that the 1306 motors perform better with 4045 (not BN).  I really wished I can have active braking but I'm too lazy to open it all up and flash the esc.  I have a few questions.

• Can I flash blheli on simon k esc trough the flight controller?  I have ztw spider esc.
  
• You'll notice my blackbox runs out quickly.  What baudrate do you guys record blackbox at?  I'm just using internal 2mb flash memory.
  
• I really do think I need a better fpv camera.  Can anyone recommend a camera that will fit this frame?
  

I still haven't figured out if this little thing is actually faster than my 250 quad running 4s and cobra motors, maybe it's just the camera that makes it look fast.  

Next flight will have some betaflight / airmode action.

1. If you mean they have SimonK bootloader, then, unfortunately no. You need BlHeli bootloader installed on the ESCs to use BlHeli passthrough on the FC.

2. Not sure about bitrate, and I'm no Blackbox expert, but for tuning if you're on looptime of 1000µs or more you can probably get all the important moves into 2MB if you erase the flash and do your testing routine right away. If you just want your stick movements then just set blackbox_rate_denom to 2, 3, 4 or whatever to multiply your recording time by that factor. Your stick movements will just look more choppy when you play back the flight.

3. HS1177 seems to be the default answer these days 

2. you can increase blackbox denominator ( decrease the data sampling rate), to record longer
3. my go to FPV camera is PZ0420M or Runcam Sky (same cam, the latter comes with case), I tried the HS1177, just doesn't perform as good as the PZ cam.

the 2.4mm is a new one, they just arrived last weekend... I can only test them next build... I have been using the 2.8mm one and it's pretty good.
