1 Hey guys. I'm having some issues setting up ppm. I'm using a CC3D with turnigy i6 transmitter and an ia6b receiver. I have ppm set to use on my transmitter and have 3 wire from the receive port on the FC to ppm/channel 1 on the receiver. Using librepilot went in and in hardware tab set it to use ppm no oneshot and and nothing. No response input and channels. I tried using the setup wizard and the same nothing responds. So i it set it back up with pwm and works. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

1 Thanks for the info guys. I did get it working by setting to use ppm with using the flexiport instead of the receiver port on the board. I watched the video and will mostly likely flash betaflight on my cc3d. Me being new i went with the CC3D and librepilot since i read and watched videos and how it was recommended for people new the quadcopters by using the wizard being very user friendly. But see that its not used much anymore like Oscar said. What would u guys suggested for a good flight controller i could use with either betaflight or clean fight.? Some thing that is good but also at a good price. Thanks

15 03-Oct-2016, 08:48 PM (This post was last modified: 03-Oct-2016, 08:48 PM by Grisha0.) happy to hear you resolved the problems, if you have it up and flying .. use it, burn packages first start in angle for 3 -5 packs... then try to switch to acro/rate... more hours on the sticks = better flying, you can experiment also as you fly (change something and see how it works)
in the mean time you can think of changes.. for now fly and enjoy the view
as of now F303 is good (not the best)
http://www.fpvmodel.com/x-racer-f303-fli...g1106.html in nearest future i expect market to be flooded with F4 chips... for now this is a good price / performance
ps. if you are not expert at soldering this is a very easy layout to solder
even my big hands and lousy iron can work on this
All the best

15 and if you are to stick with cc3d, i;ve just installed betaflight 3.0 on one
so it is possible but you need ftdi.

1 Thanks guys. I think i might actually buy another CC3D and try to install beta flight on it. And keep my original one with librepilot firmware on it. Just in case i mess anything up. I find them online really cheap and even on amazon too. Once i get more experienced i think ill get the X racer 303 FC.

15 Nope, don't buy new one... if you want to buy a new one buy f3/f4
this process is 100 % reversible
so you can always go back to libre (any time you want, also if you make a mistake and upload wrong software... there is also a way back)
All the best
