PixHawk
#1
So I gave my wife my Christmas list and it had an FX-79 flying wing on there plus servos and motor/esc.  I'd like to make this my first FPV fixed wing experience and also UAV.  I'd like to use a Pixhawk with GPS to play with - things like GPS waypoints, loiter mode etc etc seem like fun.

Has anyone played with Pixhawk?  What do I need to know as a newbie in this world - which one should I buy (there are various versions from what I see), there are different GPS modules available but what's the difference, which other sensors are essential and which can I add later - e.g. current/voltage sensor, barometer, airspeed etc?

Would love to hear your experience.

[EDIT]

Hmm maybe this should have been int eh flight controllers area - sorry!
