pixhawk loiter yawing problem
#1
Hi
My Hexarotor got a strange oscillation in loiter when yawing. Especially yawing to the left.

But I can fly normally in Stabilize mode and Altitude hold mode.
I believe it's not PID turning problem.

Here is the video (1:10)

pixhawk
Copter V3.5.4 Hexa

P.S. Wind speed about 30~40 km/h

Please Help !!!

Woah, that must be a little terrifying! You're right, I don't think it's a PID/Rates issue either as that's not really oscillation. Other than the PH having a major issue, only 2 things come to mind. A bad motor or faulty GPS module. I'm leaning toward the GPS module as you say it only happens in Loiter.

Hi
RENOV8R
It's only happen in Loiter mode.
But there's something weird.

I also tried the auto,RTL,and auto land mode. Surprisingly,it works successfully.  ROFL ROFL
It means GPS module working good in theory.

Maybe there is something goes wrong with compass ? Thinking

Thx~

If there was a compass problem, I would not expect RTL or other GPS assisted modes to work properly. It wouldn't even hold position in loiter mode if the compass was not calibrated properly or was getting any interference.

Have you looked at the logs? They may have some useful clues as to what the problem is.

well....I already check the logs. But I did see anything wrong...
It's only happen when yawing fast.
Maybe I can just set yawing speed slower?
