2 Thanks I could not find a BB reader for iNav maybe a link would help.
I have a lot of problems with interpreting the board alignment, I will ask a mate to come over and see if he can tell. I will search the net to see if someone has put a video out that shows precisely what to do.
I have started a new thread in 350mm + Multirotors & Arial Filming Platform and would like to continue there, at present I am totally confused the previous FCs had an arrow showing what the front was, nothing on the omnibus FC.

2 Thanks, I have looked at the log file with both CF and BB readers, interestingly enough the BF reader does not show the gyro misbehaviour. I have done more reading and have found that the FC was not mounted in the correct orientation, it was 90 degrees out in the yaw direction. This is the first board that did not have a direction arrow marked, only saw a side remark this is fantastic I can put my USB port wherever I want, which set me thinking. The other thing I notice in the configurator one can set the gyro direction much like the magnetometer direction in the earlier versions of BetaFlight. Any comment as to what I should do. I think the FC maybe damaged as I cannot connect it to the configurator. when powered by the USB port the blue LED come on and stays on, the red Led gives the usual couple of flashes but the settles down to three quick flashes, two flashes and this repeats endlessly.

45 The red LED flashes are just telling you that your accelerometer is not calibrated properly. This is one way iNav differs from Betaflight, instead of just clicking "calibrate accelerometer" in the configuration tab with the board on a flat surface, you have to do a 6-sided calibration.

2 Thanks DzikuVx I will do that but then I will also have to learn how to make sense of all the lines, bit of a challenge for my old brain.

2 I had a very successful flight with my new quad fitted with an Omnibus F3 flight controller. You can read all about in my new thread "350mm + Multirotors & Arial Filming Platform" called iNav help. I will do all the new post there.
