i think i know the answer, but to to ensure that my quad wasnt the problem, do i have to re-tune the PIDs when i update esc bh heli firmware?

Usually you don't unless there was major changes to the firmware.

I can't imagine that you have to retune. Try going back to 16.5. If problem still remains, then there is something wrong with your quad or your tune changed. Are you sure your PIDs are the same?

finally it stopped storming...so..i reloaded 16.5 and it was back to normal.. i guess these EMAX 30a bullet esc dont like it, and ill have to retune, later, much later..it flys fine now..pretty sure theres nothing in the new version that i cant live with.....FLY ON BROTHER>>

There are some bugs in 16.7 that haven't been worked out yet (the most prominent being your quad wanting to drill itself into the ground when using turtle mode lol) and it's recommended to only upgrade to 16.67 if you're having issues
