A little while ago I made two videos describing how to power Phantom 2 from regular 3S LiPos.

First video describes how to connect Smart Battery's electronics to virtually any 3s battery:



Second one shows some tests of such solution and how to "teach" Smart Battery's electronics that it has brand new cells at it's disposal:



Vids are in Polish but translation is available - just enable the subtitles.
