Thumbs Up

advice to take in the future

in oscar website :

set osd_displayport_device = MSP
set displayport_msp_serial = x (should be 1 less than the UART number, e.g. if UART1, enter 0 here)
save

its working now

I guess you flashed the FC back to Betaflight 4.3.x because the "displayport_msp_serial" setting no longer exists in Betaflight 4.4.x onwards. It was replaced with the "VTX (MSP + Displayport)" setting in the ports tab.

Even though you have fixed the OSD issue, you've still lost the custom tune for that quad that iFlight configured at the factory which means you are going to have to tune the quad from scratch yourself. If you can get manage to get an original CLI dump from iFlight it will have that custom tune in it which will save you the hassle of having to try and get the quad flying nicely yourself.

I thought it was the old version,, but the firmware for fc  is 4.4.3

There may be a problem with the cli .

If you've used the commands you specified in post #15 you must be running a version of Betaflight earlier than 4.4.0, but if you've got it working I guess it doesn't really matter for now. Running the "version" command in the CLI will tell you what Betaflight version is on the FC. If you manage to get the original factory CLI dump from iFlight, that current firmware version on the FC might matter then because the dump could be for a different Betadlight version, so you may end up having to reflash different firmware to the FC again.

Is the iFlight tuning important, and are the Betaflight settings sufficient?

iFlight and Chris Rosser (who is the designer of the AOS frames) usually put a reasonable amount of effort tuning their BNF quads so they fly as well as they possibly can. The quad might fly "OK" on default Betaflight settings or better with a preset tune, but a custom tune that someone has specifically created for a particular quad will always be better. If you are happy with the default Betaflight tune then just stick with that, but if you are able to get the original CLI dump from iFlight for that AOS quad you will likely end up with a much better flying quad if you're not experienced with tuning quads from scratch yourself. At the end of the day it's really up to you Smile
