Hi,

I have the fimi manta vtol, and only hearing 3 beeps when I connect a battery.
I believe this is a communication issue between the esc and the FC.

How can I investigate this further?
By the way, with the battery connect and the USB connect I get the full 5 beeps sequence .

Are you referring to the BL Heli arming tones, if you are missing the last two tones, then likely your FC is not powering up when the battery is plugged in. Possibly the 5v regulator is not working - when you plug in USB it is taking the 5v from the USB. If you can view your FC when powering up, check to see if the LEDs come on with only the lipo. If you have shorted or added other components on the FC's 5v pads, this could be causing the issue, otherwise you may need an external BEC or replace the FC.

The FC lights don't come on when just using a lipo :-(
