0 I have to say when this one eventually gets damaged I don’t think I will ever own another one again either! Has been the longest set up ever, not flown anything for over a week, spending all my time trying to unlock this one.

789 01-Oct-2021, 12:18 PM (This post was last modified: 01-Oct-2021, 12:19 PM by SnowLeopardFPV.) The Diatone FC's have been a solid budget price FC (at least the F4 versions of the same), but I think it is probably an idea to stay away from the F7 versions because of some anomalies that Diatone appear to have introduced into them. There also seems to be some kind of issue with the MSP data connection on their F7 FC's (used for the DJI FPV System and also Shark Byte HDZero VTXs) whereby it only works on either UART3 or UART4 (I forget which of the two now), but not on any other UART which is really odd.
As for RC link hardware, I left FrSky receivers behind 2 years ago and I haven't looked back. I now use TBS Crossfire on my quads which "just works" and I never have to worry about having a failsafe (knock on wood). You can get a Crossfire Nano TX for the FrSky X-Lite transmitter which just slots into the "Lite" bay in the back of the X-Lite. Alternatively if you like experimenting with open source hardware / software then there are now also offerings for 2.4GHz ExpressLRS which are available in "Lite" bay format so will also fit the X-Lite. Both of those systems are way better and more reliable than using an FrSky RC link.
