I haven’t had a Christmas tree in a decade and a half or so.
We’ve got a number of rescue cats and two big puppies (lab and mastiff mix).

So, having an easily tipped over thing covered in lights and shiny bits and bobs just isn’t feasible inside the house.

But… while trying to map out a good inside whoop race course, I found a rusty old fake Christmas tree in the attic of my shop. Our fuzzy critters are inside only critters, so they don’t come out to my shop…….

So we’ve got a Christmas tree this year!

We didn’t have any ornaments, but my significant other is good at paper crafting so she threw together some things to hang from the tree.

We needed a tree topper, so she asked if I could make it look like a quad crashed into the tree. (Yeah, she’s a keeper.)

So, the tree topper is an old 4” quad. The yellow and blue frame a bit below it is a RoninUAV Ashigaru MK2.

And now I’ve got a new fun obstacle to fly around.

Man, flying around a tree isn't as simple as it sounds.
