Numbers on the Motors

Can you assume the mounting bolt size/spacing will be the same for the new motor if you match the numbers written on the side of the old motor?

Nothings guaranteed, especially if from differing manufacturers, which you don't indicate.

Yes, it would be from a different manufacturer. The original motors are quite old.

No, best to check the motor spec sheet.
Typically whoop motors (1102 and smaller) will have three hole mount (M1.4 @6mm),
micro motors 4 hole mount (m2 9x9mm) and mini motors (m3 16x16mm), but it could be different.

These are 9mm according to my measurement.  I'll shop for that size and see what I find.   Thanks.
