Nubee question

They look like Xrotor 10A.  Anyway, it looks like you should be able to use FC passthrough to flash BLHeli.  Otherwise, you will need to do it using an Arduino and the C2 ports.  It is not likely you brick your ESC.

Well...he said they're definitely 20A. But aren't flashed with BLHeli. I'm not even sure if flashing it is possible. How do I know if they're actually 20A and if flashing BLHeli is possible? Pardon all this silly questions. I've been googling a lot but I think I still need some expert opinions/answers.

Yours looks like the 10A and not the 20A. These are old ESCs, just try to flash. If it works great, if not excuse to buy new ESCs.

When you connect everything up, blheli will automatically pick the firmware for your ESCs.

Do yourself a favour and buy a new generation All in one FC and ESC. The setup is a lot of simpler and the quad will be much easier to fly.
