Hey Guys,

I'm running the latest Betaflight with RTFQ Flip 32 F4 FC.  I have 'disarm motors regardless of throttle value' selected and that is not happening.  I have to have the throttle all the way down then flip the switch to disarm.

Any suggestions?

Check to see if you have 3D mode checked in the configuration tab. If it is, it will ignore your 'disarm motors...' setting. (So far that's the only thing I can find.)

It makes sense, and believe me, 3d setting enabled for a beginner can be tragic ! Ask me how I know 

Another point is that you better configure a SWITCH from your transmitter to arm/disarm the motors, it can save ESCs/motors in case of crashes. Any time you crash, quickly disarm the motors from the switch. On my first flights I fried 4 ESCs and 3 motors, getting better now, but the point is that you will probably hit the ground multiple times when you are starting.

3D mode was disabled. I went through the motions again and its working now. One of those things I guess. I have everything set up on a switch for arming/disarming etc.
