I had the screen detached from my EV800d's the other day and my son grabbed the other end and was remarking how they magnify everything. They actually work really well as a magnifier. Because you are still looking with both eyes, you still have depth perception. Going to have to try them out when trying to solder on tiny pads.

My son did the same thing! I didn’t think of using them as magnification glasses though
