New Tinywhoop clone? QX70
#1
Just seen this, it must be brand new as I didn't see it when I ordered the parts to build me whoop 2 weeks ago:

Tempted but I should wait for my parts to arrive and build my own first.  Parts are late now, have a love hate relationship with BG and their postage!

Which one did you order? This one (Eachine Turbine QX70) is considerably bigger than the 6mm Tiny Whoop though, 100mm x 100mm VS 65mm x 65mm

That's quite a difference, sneaky they make it look exactly the same.  Luckily I didn't order one - received my E010 parts today, finally Smile

Could not be more disappointed, after 2 1/2 weeks of waiting I find that they have sent me the wrong FC - they sent the FRSky version rather than DSM; typical banggood  Angry

So I gave in and brought a Taranis from a UK supplier in the back friday sales.  Had been considering it for a while so this was a good excuse.  BG still haven't provided a resolution so just as well Smile

First report about this quad. I have the flysky version.
The frame is from very brittle plast, i am sure it will break very soon. The quad is equiped with LED bar (the same one as QX95 has) and is so bright, that LOS flight is allmost mpossible. Luckily, the LED bar can be removed very easily. The stock mount for the camera is so bad, that during first flight, the camera literally jumped out of the mount because of the vibrations.
So, i have now to design my own and print it. The camera is the new one with buttons instead of switches.
No documentation at all in the package.
Board has usb connection to PC throught special cable with special very small connector, this saves a bit of the weight.
The quad binds like charm, no jumper has to be bridged.
I will update the report after few first flights i intend to do over weekend.

Thanks for the report.  Is it much larger than a whoop?  What size batteries and what kind of flight times do you get?

Its larger than TinyWhoop, but smaller than QX80. I will measure the exact dimensions in the afternoon. Battery is the very same, as with the QX90,95 etc (1s 600mAh) mounted verticaly under the FC (this design is interesting). Flight times can not say yet as i am afraid that i will destroy the camera because it falls out of the mount, but i guess, it will be more or less the same timframe as it is with the QX 90, so something like 3:30
