New Taranis
#1
Hate to start a new thread just for this, but I am stuck and wanted to see if anyone could help.  I have a Taranis that I got a few weeks ago and although I don't think I have something set up wrong I wanted to be sure.  I have an idea of how OpenTX works because I had it on the radio I was using before the Taranis.
I am setting up a new quad that I just built and when I went to test fly it, (I'm using betaflight btw) and flipped the Arm switch the motors started up and were running smooth with min throttle set at 1050, but when I try to give it even the slightest bit of throttle it goes straight to full speed and shoots straight up out of control.  It's so fast that even if I was taking off it would be out of control.
Trying to pinpoint the issue here and I am wondering if there is something I could of set up wrong when I created the model for this quad in the taranis.  Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

first of all, remove your props, connect FC to configurator, and check your receiver channels working correctly (you might need to connect lipo to power the RX)
next question would be, is your quad too powerful? maybe give it some throttle curve...
video would also help troubleshoot what the problem is.

Thanks Oscar.  Right now when I arm the motor will start up fine with a min command of 1050, but when I give it the slightest bit of throttle it jumps into the sky full speed and out of control, there is no middle ground.  I've checked in the config and receiver channels look to be working fine, I've looked through all the settings on my radio and nothing looks odd, so I am at a loss.  Someone suggested I reflash betaflight and see if that helps, so that is what I will try now.

yea.. if it's not the TX/RX side... then it's probably your FC acting up..
