1st Post to this forum. So I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Lived in central Arkansas all my life. I'm an Industrial Systems Control Teck / Master Electrician. And I've been in the electrical field for more than 30 yrs. I like all the "big-boy" toys. But have been focusing on RC for the past couple of years. Until recently, I was strictly a heli pilot. Flying a fully customized Blade 300X. My skillset is currently "modest", capable of stable flight in any orientation. But not quite a 3D pilot - yet. The majority of my stick time is spent on the Phoenix Sim.
Now, like many, I've seemed to be stricken with the FPV Bug. So, like I always do, I've gone out and started investing in my new found hobby. I've already acquired a Speed Addict 210R frame along with most of the electronics (some still in shipping). I've also been fortunate enough to acquire a set of used Skyzone goggles. And a new Spectrum Dx8 Tx. Some of you from the other forums already know that I'm trying to stay in the Spektrum Family. And resisting the urge to switch to Taranis. Even though it seems that I may have chosen a more difficult path.
Anyway, thanks for reading my post. And thanks in advance for any warm welcome's. I'll be posting my build again shortly in the Catalyst Machine Section. And will probably have many more questions along the way.
Thanks Again
Randy
